On March 26, Brussels Immanuel Church offered a graceful Sunday service to God with the scripture Mathew 13:23.
This sermon, delivered by Pastor Apollos Yoon, talks about how the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it, producing a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. what God want is to create a world where our souls will praise Him, and this begins with people who receive God’s word and understand it. Through these people, God writes history and creates a new world by those who hear His word, receive it with joy, and obey it to bear fruit. However, the rocky ground and thorns represent internal and external factors that prevent the word from taking root and bearing fruit.
Ultimately, Pastor Apollos delievered, “we have been given the best thing we could have the love of Jesus Christ on the cross. God has given us free will, and He trusts us completely. Our faith may be impure, but we must meditate on the fact that God believes in us 100%. To become good soil, we must have high expectations, pray a lot, and become tools for God’s mission. Through those who hear and realize God’s word and persevere with patience while keeping God’s word with a good and kind heart, God is creating a great world, destroying sin, iniquity, wickedness, human arrogance, pride, and other closed relationships through Christ. Let us become good soil and bear much fruit.”
