On February 19, Brussels Immanuel Church offered a graceful Sunday service to God with the scripture from Numbers 13~14.
Pastor Apollos compared the reports of the ten with the reports of Caleb and Joshua and meditated on why the ten had given a report lacking in faith. Afterwards, while witnessing God’s wrath, he meditated on how our lack of faith is an act of contempt towards God, and urged to remember the miracles that God has bestowed upon Belgium, and to not commit the sin of contempting God, but to move forward with strength relying on God like Caleb and Joshua.
Pastor Apollos delieverd the message, saying, “We have also experienced many miracles of God not only here in Belgium, but also throughout our whole lives. So, let us not have the same attitude as the ten. We know that God is able and almighty, and we should believe in him. When we work, it’s not by our might, power or skills, but by the Spirit of God. If God wants to give us this land, it will be as He has planned. Through today’s passage, I hope that we can be like Caleb and Joshua, who, despite difficulties, truly believed in God and gave a report of faith. Let us be people who can please God.”
